Robert Pattinson thinks it’s “pathetic” that he looks forward to plane trips.
The 24-year-old British actor shot to international fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in the vampire movie franchise Twilight, and he has gone on to become one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood.
The star’s lifestyle is jam-packed and he often has to jet across the globe for various work commitments. However, Robert doesn’t complain about all the long-haul flights as they are a great opportunity to unwind.
“I look forward to plane journeys. That’s how pathetic it is,” he confided in an interview with the British edition of OK! magazine.
“I just put a blanket over my head and fall asleep.”
Despite being happy once he’s up in the air, the movie hunk admits making his way to the plane can be tricky. Robert boasts an army of adoring female fans, and often gets bombarded by people when he arrives at the airport, notably when he’s in Los Angeles.
“Airports are always difficult, especially in LA – LAX is hard but you just do all these crazy little things, like you get your plane ticket like 20 minutes before the plane takes off. That’s really the only way to do it,” he added.
