Robert Pattinson: 'I Want to Have Fun'
Source: http://www.theimproper.com/
Fans of Twilight star Robert Pattinson often mistake him for Edward Cullen, the alluring vampire he plays in the blockbuster film. But Rob, 22, insists he's nothing like the brooding Edward.
"I’m not stiff as Edward. I want to have fun," says Pattinson. "He's this 108-year-old adult [trapped inside a 17-year-old body], but I’m still a 6-year-old boy [at heart]," he laughs.
Rob's moving portrayal of the introspective, lovelorn vampire has won him millions of admirers around ... Read More

Robert Pattinson Channels Artist Salvador Dali
source: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20255455,00.html
Twilight star Robert Pattinson can't always play a vampire heartthrob.
In his next movie, Little Ashes, set in 1922 and described by Variety as an "arty Bohemian romp," the London-born actor, 22, plays Spanish surrealist painter (1904-1989) Salvador Dalí as a young man – in love with the poet Federico GarcÍa Lorca, played by Javier Beltran.
The two meet at university, with Lorca attracted to what the movie's production notes call Dalí's "bizarre blend of shyness and rampant ... Read More

Here's the latest buzz on Regent Releasing's "Little Ashes," Robert Pattinson's new film that opens March 27.
Coincidentally, that's the same day his "Twilight" costar Kristen Stewart's new indie comedy, "Adventureland," opens.
Which movie will you go see first? I think I can guess.
But this really is movie-marketing crossover genius. Now the "Twilight" stars can promote both their new films AND their new joint movie, "New Moon," which they will be shooting.

Breakout Stars: Robert Pattinson, Kat Dennings
Vampires may not have reflections, but Twilight's Pattinson has obviously been practicing his smoldering look in the mirror for a long time. Denning, meanwhile, turned it up with Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist after smaller parts in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Sex in the City.

5. Robert Pattinson
Few can claim a supporting role in the Harry Potter series and then go on to open their own franchise wide and loud once the latest of those films shuffled off their November turf. Center to all this madness is Pattinson, complete with perpetual pout and glittery skin. It's enough to make you trample one another in a San Francisco mall, just to kiss the ground he practically glided over. Read More

Our man has just woken up. He’s just rolled out of bed. He’s sitting opposite me on an overstuffed sofa in trousers and a T-shirt. The year’s teen idol, the month’s hottest “get” in celebrity journalism, obviously hasn’t done up his laces.
In its opening weekend in the United States, Twilight, the vampire film he stars in, took £48m. A cast appearance in a mall in San Francisco, projected to attract 500, was attended by 3,000 and had to be closed down. At ... Read More

Four years ago Robert Pattinson's vignette in Vanity Fair hit the cutting room floor. Now he's set to become one of the actors of the decade, taking the lead in the phenomenally successful vampire love flick, Twilight, and playing Cedric Diggory in the upcoming Harry Potter. Sure, we’ve devoted ample time to “Little Ashes” and “How to Be,” two long-ago-wrapped indie films that should hit theaters in 2009, marking Robert Pattinson’s first appearances after his “Twilight” breakthrough. But now all eyes are on “Parts Per Billion,” the first film that the 22-year-old leading man will shoot as a certified star.
“It’s an ensemble story,” explained Rosario Dawson, who will also appear in the film alongside Olivia Thirlby and Dennis Hopper when it begins shooting next month. “[The script features ... Read More

Metromix Baltimore Q&A and Word Association with Robert Pattinson
In conversation, "Twilight" star and sudden mega-heartthrob Robert Pattinson frequently breaks into a giddy, surprised laugh—like he can't believe the silliness of becoming, seemingly overnight, the sort of actor who receives questions about his hair and the love of thousands of screaming girls.
You can't blame him for being a bit overwhelmed. The anticipation for the big screen adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's hit novel—about immortal vampire Edward Cullen (Pattinson) and his star-crossed love Bella Swan ... Read More

FEARnet’s hometown, Philadelphia, PA, has historically been voted the ugliest city in the country. Not because of the overabundance of grey sidewalk and silver skyscrapers. Nor because of the climbing murder rate. And not even because of the fact that the harsh “ja eat? fuggedaboutit” accent is indistinguishable from a six-year-old with a mouth full of cheese-steak hoagie. No, it’s because of the overabundance of significantly obese, hideously disfigured monsters we call Philadelphians, which we find lurking the streets of this godforsaken ... Read More
